They can work in biotechnology research and application centers established under universities, research laboratories of genetic diseases research centers and laboratories where routine operations such as medical analyzes are carried out. Due to the increasing interest in the protection of the environment all over the world, they can work in industrial facilities established to prevent or reduce environmental and air pollution or in treatment facilities belonging to local governments. Graduates in the above business areas; They can take part in the production process or the routine quality-control analyzes required by the process, health-related tests, new method development studies and their implementation. In addition, they can work as a manager in the execution and conclusion of projects. They can do research on nutrition, the effect of genetic drugs and chemical changes caused by diseases. In addition, studies on small organisms responsible for human, plant and animal diseases, studies to obtain various biochemical substances (such as protein, blood serum protein, amino acids, organic acids and compounds) in the laboratory environment, the harmful effects of all chemical and biological pollutants on organisms. They can participate in studies examining the research, preparation of cell and tissue culture in accordance with their technique, studies on clean and healthy nutrition (food chemistry and technology, fermentation, food microbiology, food hygiene). Department graduates in the specified business areas; They work as Biochemists in the production processes or during the routine quality-control analyzes required by the process, health-related tests, new method development studies and their implementation. Due to the fact that biochemistry establishes the connection between different branches, the diversity and prevalence of business fields is increasing. In addition, there is the opportunity to participate in academic studies and education process in the field of Biochemistry. |
