It is aimed to analyze the chemical and biochemical properties of free radicals and to examine the antioxidant systems and the main important functioning mechanisms. |

Course Contents |
How are free radicals produced? The formation mechanism of free radicals, their cellular effects and the concept of oxidative stress will be examined. In addition, antioxidants, measurement methods, properties of antioxidants and diseases associated with free radicals will be understood. |
