History | Health Institutions Management program was established in 2015 in the university of Iğdır Vocational School and education was started at the beginning of 2016-2017 academic year. | Qualification Awarded | Students who have successfully completed all the courses in the 2-year education plan with at least 120 ECTS, are awarded associate degree in the field of Health Institutions Management. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | Short Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | Iğdır Vocational School programs are conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates are placed by OSYM. The records of the students who are placed in the Health Institutions Management Program are made by the Student Affairs Office on the calendar schedule determined by OSYM. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | Recognition of the previous formal (formal) student in Turkish higher education institutions, transitions within the vertical, horizontal and inter-university mobility are determined by the Higher Education Council of The University, in accordance with "REGULATION ON THE PRINCIPLES OF TRANSFERS BETWEEN PRE-LICENSE AND LICENSE DEGREE PROGRAMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION, DOUBLE MAJOR, SIDE, AND INSTITUTIONAL CREDIT TRANSFER". The recognition process of non-formal certification or experiential (non-formal and informal) learning outside of formal education institutions in Turkey is still at an early stage. For this reason, recognition of the previous learner in all the programs of Igdir University has not been fully started yet. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | As stated in the and regulations of associate and license degree of Iğdır University, The student should not have any FF, DZ or YZ grades in order to complete all the courses in the program. This program is a vocational program that prepares students to work in health care enterprises. | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | The Health Institutions Management program is designed to provide graduates in public, university and foundation hospitals, private hospitals, rehabilitation centers, biomedical product companies, international pharmaceutical companies, companies that produce healthcare services automation services, companies conducting research and education in the field of healthcare, work in industrial establishments producing devices, non-governmental organizations in healthcare, and health research centers. | Access to Further Studies | According to the "Implementing Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education of Vocational Schools Graduates" published in the Official Gazette dated 19.02.2002 and numbered 24676 and the application principles determined by the Council of Higher Education on the transition to undergraduate education and examinations and placement related to the graduation of successful students graduating from Vocational Schools operations are carried out by ÖSYM.
Health Institutions Management Graduates of the Associate Degree Program are able to transit vertically to relevant undergraduate programs in order to bring their vocational education to the top level. Vertical Transfer Areas: Business Administration, Health Administration, Management of Health Institutions, Management of Health Institutions, Health Management | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | Examinations and evaluation of the exams are carried out in accordance with Iğdır University's Associate Degree-Undergraduate Education-Examination Regulations. | Graduation Requirements | As stated in the and regulations of associate and license degree of Iğdır University, The student should not have any FF, DZ or YZ grades in order to complete all the courses in the program. A total of 6000 m2 closed area allocated for the Vocational High School will be served. A total of 25 classrooms, each of 70 m2 are available. There are also two 100 m2 computer laboratories and one distance education classroom.
2 Our classrooms have a capacity of 60 students, and each class has a projector, computer connection and internet access.
3. For our incoming students; There is a sports hall with a capacity of 1500 people, a canteen with a 300 m2 area, a dining hall with a 300 m2 area, a conference room with a capacity of 350 people, a central amphitheater for 400 people for public use, 2 mini football fields, 2 volleyball and basketball courts. |
