In order to obtain a bachelor's degree in Health Management, students must meet the following requirements; To have passed all the courses in the curriculum with at least CC grade and to have achieved a weighted average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. |
Profile of The Programme |
The Health Management programme consists of theoretical and applied courses and covers a four-year education period.
Mission: The Department of Health Management aims to transfer the current information obtained by following the changes and developments in the health sector at national and international level to its students. Within the framework of this aim, the department graduates qualified labour force who have knowledge about the characteristics and functioning of hospitals and other health institutions as well as the general health policy of the country. |

Graduates of the Health Management Undergraduate Program can work as “Health Institutions Manager” in the following areas:
Public Sector, Universities, Foundation Hospitals, Private Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centers, Public institutions related to health insurance, Private Insurance Companies, Industrial organizations producing pharmaceuticals and medical devices, Health research centers. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Exams, measurement and evaluation are carried out on the basis of "Iğdır Üniversitesi Ön Lisans ve Lisans Eğitim Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği". Students are subjected to a midterm and a final exam. The final grades of the students are given by the lecturer / instructor responsible for the course according to the midterm, final exam grades and the studies they carried out during the semester and the attendance rules. |
Graduation Requirements |
In order to receive a bachelor's degree in Health Management, all of the courses in the programme (240 ECTS is taken as basis) must be successfully completed and the general academic grade point average (GPA) must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00 or higher. |
