Objectives of the Course
The main objective of this course is to introduce Management Information Systems and explain the role of information systems on many organizational functions. This course will provide a managerial perspective on the use, design and evaluation of information systems.

1The student can use information systems concepts in organization operations and business.
2The student can identify the main components of computer systems such as hardware, software, operating system and operating environment.
3The student evaluates, selects and uses computer-based information systems from an operator perspective.
4The student can design and develop management information system applications such as creating tables, creating database and web service development.
5Students can use large-scale computer applications to help with management and transactional applications.

Strategic use of information systems (Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Resources Planning etc.) Social dimension of information technologies - its effects on organizations and society. Management Information System applications.
