General Description
History
Home Patient Care program has started education and training in 2014-2015, depending on Health Services Vocational School. Our department gives two years education and training to students who will be capable of giving proper care to the patients after a high quality education.
Qualification Awarded
Health Care Technician. The graduates of this program, "Health Technician" take the title.

Specific Admission Requirements
As a high school diploma and the center of the University Placement Exam with YGS-2 score Vocational School of Health Services to be placed.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Igdir University Vocational School of Health Services of the University in the previous periods, or other courses taken by students who have graduated from university with a different program to the new corporation ECTS courses are evaluated in terms of suitability and appropriateness of content with the decision of the commission may be concerned about the exemptions.

Profile of The Programme
Purpose of Home Patient Care Program, enhance the quality of life of patients, recognizing the characteristics of the patient, capable of giving daily care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy , who capable of editing patient’s room, giving a bad exercises which can relieve the patient, can be given medication to the patient, who can care for specific diseases, capable of applying first aid to educate health care personnel. During two years aducation, field courses taken about Patient Care Principles and Applications, Physical and Social Rehabilitation, Occupation Therapy, Infectious Diseases and extra courses taken such as Patient Psychology, Medical Ethics and Patients Rights, Human Relations, Health Law.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
After the graduation, health care technicians have opportunity to work the execution of patient care services and social services Child Protection Agency, Municipalities, Hospitals, Civil Society Organizations and private carried out in institutions; nursing homes, elderly care homes, powerless hostel, centers of elderly care.
Access to Further Studies
After the graduation from the health care programs, can make a transition to the Nursing, Nursing and Health Services degree program by the Transfer Test (DGS).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Classes at the beginning of each semester in order to register and enter the final exam ine the courses and at least 70%, at least 80% of applications continued to be what is required. Students for each course at least 1 shall be subject to mid-term and final exam. Achievement score, midterm exam (as the midterm grade homework, lab exam, quiz, etc. may be considered as the measuring instruments in the scores) contributed 40%, while the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All the exams out of 100. Final exam are required to obtain at least 50 points. (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from one course are considered successful. (DC) and (DD) notes, conditional achievement grades.
Graduation Requirements
To successfully complete the program, all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS) to pass to obtain a CGPA of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale is required.

Facilities
Temporarily in a separate building in the center of vocational college classrooms classroom and practical lab is not being used. Lecturer in the department of education and training activities carried out with 3. Courses in the department with a capacity of 56 seats and projection equipment is carried out in the classroom; 1 application labs are used. Students in the department, which is open throughout the day can benefit from free of charge internet lab.
