Cosmetic technology program is one of the programs under the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Processing Technologies at Iğdır Technical Sciences Vocational School. It was opened in 2018. |

Those who successfully complete the Cosmetic Technology department are given an associate degree in Cosmetic Technology. Graduates of the department are also called Cosmetic Technicians. |

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Students are exempted from equivalent courses if they apply with a transcript that certifies that they have taken certain courses before. In the recognition of previous formal education in Turkish Higher Education institutions, vertical, horizontal and university transitions, The provisions of the “Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers” are applied. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
As stated in the associate degree and undergraduate regulations of Iğdır University, the average of the courses taken from other courses, excluding YÖK courses, must be at least 2.0 (two). For more detailed information, the regulation should be consulted. It is necessary to successfully complete all of the courses available in the program and a 30-day internship. (Total of 120 ECTS) |

Access to Further Studies |
Graduates of the program and students who are in the last year and have fulfilled the graduation requirements other than internship can transfer to formal education undergraduate programs with the vertical transfer exam. |

Examinations and assessment and evaluation of these exams are carried out in accordance with the Iğdır University Associate Degree-Bachelor's Degree Education and Examination Regulations. |
Graduation Requirements |
The education period of the program is 2 years (4 semesters) and the education language is Turkish. Students who fulfill the conditions specified in the Iğdır University Associate-Bachelor's Education-Teaching and Examination Regulations and successfully complete 112 ECTS courses and 30 working days of internship (8 ECTS) obtain the right to graduate. |

Facilities |
In our program, education-training and research activities continue with 3 academic personnel, including 2 Assist. Prof. (including Assist. Prof. assignment) and 1 Lecturer. In our program, there are 2 laboratories, namely the Cosmetics laboratory and the Cosmetics workshop, which have sufficient equipment for teaching and research activities. Theoretical courses are conducted in our classrooms. |
