Objectives of the Course
Understanding the basic concepts on the environment and environmental pollution, the causes of environmental pollution on a national and global scale, perceiving the main environmental problems and determining the steps to be taken in the solution of these problems. Also; In order to prevent and compensate for cultural losses, it is aimed that people develop projects for social responsibility, and through a series of activities, people can develop sensitivity to social problems and offer solutions.

Course Contents
To prevent environmental pollution and protect human health, to create lost social awareness and to contribute to the environment in a social sense.

1Explaining and discussing environment, ecosystem, habitat, niche, community, ecological balance, ecological cycles, natural and cultural environment and environmental factors.
2Explaining the causes of environmental problems, population growth, unplanned urbanization, unplanned industrialization problems.
3The consequences of environmental problems, environmental pollution in terms of Human Health, Major Local Environmental Pollution, Effects on Flora-Fauna and Effects on Biological Diversity.
4Air pollution, water and sea pollution, soil pollution issues and discussion.
5Explanation and discussion of noise and noise pollution, image pollution problems.
6Explaining and discussing radioactive and cultural pollution problems.
7Solid waste pollution and transformation, Explaining and discussing food pollution problems
8Explaining and discussing erosion and wrong land use problems.
9Examination of the legislation on environmental protection in our country.
10Measures to be taken for environmental problems, and alternative energy sources to be developed.
11Investigation of human impact on environment.
12Environment and sustainable development, Environmental education and environmental awareness.
13Adopting sustainable planning and design approaches that prevent environmental pollution and support the development of human health.
