General Registration Procedures

At Iğdır University, every academic year begins on the date determined by the University Senate. One academic year consists of two semesters, one for the fall and the other for the spring semester. One semester (including final exams) is 14 weeks. Students who are entitled to receive education at Iğdır University are required to prepare the necessary documents for registration and have registered between the announced dates every year. All the procedures of entering and registering at Igdır University are done between the collaboration of Department of Student Affairs and Department of Health, Culture and Sports. Candidates who are entitled to receive education at Iğdır University are informed by the announcement published at www.igdir.edu.tr and they are doing their entries perfectly via the internet ( http://ogrenci.igdir.edu.tr/ogrenci/ogr0209/) by entering their password / password and getting information from the preparation page. Students can register via e-Government or Iğdır University Registration Center Building after they have prepared the necessary documents for registration and have deposited the tuition to the related bank account at the registration dates announced by OSYM (there is no tuition for the daytime education). Candidates who are entitled to enrol at the university must apply for registration themselves. However, candidates who cannot personally apply due to their excuses can be registered by the persons who have given their power of attorney through a notary public, provided that they document their excuses. Candidates must have their exact registration between the dates specified. A student who has not completed his / her enrolment in the course of time is considered to have given up his right to become a university student. Students who are studying in the intermediate and final classes have to renew their registration between the dates specified in the academic calendar at the beginning of each semester by making course selections according to the Iğdır University Education and Training Regulation. After students deposit their education tuition fees by specifying the number of the tuition fees until the end of the first five working days of the education, they need to complete their transactions of selecting courses and renewing enrolment by entering their own code on the Student Information System (http://ogrenci.igdir.edu.tr/).
