The program was established in 2013, began to accepted student in 2013-2014 academic year.

It is determined by OSYM in accordance with the relevant legislation of the Council of Higher Education (YOK). Graduates from the department of vocational highschool determined for no-exam transfer to “environmental health program” can matriculate this programme. If they have required conditions. Graduates from the department of vocational highschool non-determined for no-exam transfer or highschool can be placed on condition that entered Higher Education Exam (YGS) and took the enough score. In addition, students who wish to register, the lack of any higher education institution record.

Profile of The Programme
Environmental health program is a multidisciplinary program. The Program includes environment, health, agriculture, energy, engineering, biology, microbiology and biochemistry fields. The goal of the program is to train young people to search the way of solution to environmental problems to have around us, and, increasing in recent years or may encounter in the future. These young people should be specializing, dynamic, cultured, active and researcher. And other goal of the program is satisfy the intermediate member requirement. The Program includes mandatory and electives courses.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduated students in the profession of environmental health field on the line with the proficiencies at their choice will get a job in these fileds; the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs (spring water and bottling plants), the Ministry of Food-Agriculture and Livestock Ministry (food manufacturing all kinds of institutions and organizations (Meat and Fish Authority and Slaughterhouses, dairy products institutions)), the Ministry of Health (medical offices, clinics, wellness directorates, sanitations, public health Labs), municipalities, private health institutions, national and international environmental service organizations.
Access to Further Studies
In accordance with the relevant legislation of the Council of Higher Education (YOK) can be both horizontal and vertical transfer. Successful applicants in the DGS (the exam of vertical transfer) can be placed to one of the undergraduate program determinated for "environmental health" associate degree graduates by ÖSYM.

In accordance with the contents of the course, theoretical examinations are done the multiple-choice, fill-in, true-false, comparative and open-ended. Applied courses are evaluated with the practice exam.

Facilities
There are equipped technologically classes would be processed the theoretical training courses related to program, computer lab with a capacity of 40 student, work-ready 2 lab in terms of chemical and machine equipment.. There is wireless internet network in order to provide ease of access to information to students.
