Objectives of the Course
Teach the basic principles of the suitability of agricultural tools and machinery that they are produced for, give information on appropriateness of materials used in the manufacturing of machine in terms of their size, shape and properties, give information on the current national and international standards that related to the agricultural tools and machinery in terms of structural and functional features, give information on the principles of test, control and measurement required to be done on determination of the quality and strength of machinery, provide information about the steps to be followed in conducting the tests and the device and equipments to be used for this purpose, teach how the test reports are prepared.

To acquaint and equip with the procedure of testing & performance evaluation of farm power & machinery as per test standards and interpretation of results.
