Dersin Amacı
The development of husbandry in our country is considerable related to well-qualified roughage use. In winter, it is necessary to make silage and preserve green fodder plants available in other seasons. There are many plants used in silage making. However, the most preferred ones are Grass Forage Crops such as corns and sorghums. Also legumes, grassland plants and many industrial byproducts are used for silage making. Within this context, the aim of this course is to provide information about cultivating some plants, primarily corn and sorghum with the aim of making silage.
