Objectives of the Course
In general, the course aims to reach the following end terms:‎ Knowledge: Providing detailed scientific knowledge in modified atmosphere ‎packaging with emphasis on basics, types of products and quality of each ‎technology.‎ Skills: Teaching students to analyse and solve problems in the field of modified ‎atmosphere packaging technology. More specific, the course discusses the ‎advantages and limits of each novel technology.‎

1On ending the course the student will be capable to:‎ ‎-‎ Obtain the knowledge about the modified atmosphere packaging technology in ‎food industry.‎ ‎-‎ Evaluate the possibilities, advantages and limits of modified atmosphere ‎packaging technology in food processing.‎ ‎-‎ Determine the foods that could be treated by modified atmosphere packaging ‎technology.‎
