Course Contents |
Basic laboratory techniques used in plant tissue culture and organization of the plant tissue culture laboratory, the sterilization techniques, the importance of nutrient media and culture conditions and practice on solution preparation, application areas of plant tissue cultures in plant breeding, types of plant tissue culture and application on micropropagation, commercial applications of plant tissue culture and to produce disease-free plants, practical applications of protoplast culture and somatic hybridization, germplasm conservation techniques. |
