Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide basic knowledge skills to the students about aims, principles methods of breeding in main oil crops such as sunflower, soybean, groundnut, sesame, rape, safflower, etc.

Course Contents
The course will cover the reproductive biology of oil crops (sunflower, soybean, groundnut, sesame, rape, safflower, etc), relationships between botanical properties level of inheritance, breeding purposes will be explained breeding methods applicable to these crops evaluations will be discussed. Additionally, utilization importance of biotechnology for breeding of these crops will be examined.
