After completing this course, ıt is aim to increase the students knowledges and skills regarding the pomological characteristics of the fruit types and varieties

Learning Outcomes

1	To have information about the pomological characteristics of fruit species and varieties
2	To have information about fruit characteristics (size, shape, peel, stem, flesh, seed, etc.) that are considered in determining the qualities of fruit varieties
3	To be able to plan the points to be considered in terms of pomological characteristics in the researches to be done.
4	To be able to classify fruit types into pomological groups according to their different characteristics

The goal of the course is to teach terms of species science for fruit science; evaluation criteria, the species renamed, grouped and analysis
