Objectives of the Course
From a historical perspective, it is aimed to analyse the development of social rights, social justice, social state and evolution from social state understanding to social policy. Examining the manifestations of this evolution in Turkey is the other purpose of this course.

Learning Outcomes
1Students will be able to discuss the development of social rights on a conceptual level, both internationally, nationally and locally.
2Students will understand the continuity and changes reflected in the social policy discussions of historical transformations in state-society relations and the content of the concept of citizenship.
3Students will be able to analyse the theoretical background of the welfare state and social policy in Turkey.
