Objectives of the Course
It includes the concepts of knowledge, science, research and technology, components of scientific research, time management and planning, literature review, ethical principles, scientific methods in research (qualitative and quantitative), research project and report preparation, and laboratory safety. It covers the questions to be asked in the scientific research process, what the qualitative and quantitative approaches to finding answers are and how to use them. Scientific Research Techniques is a course that deals with and explains the methods and techniques used in scientific research in detail and aims to bring a different perspective to scientific events.

1Knows the subjects of introduction to research methods, philosophy of research, structure and components of research work,
2Learns and uses scientific research approaches, theory-specific definitions, basic characteristics of science, positivism, hypothesis, observation, selection of research topic and problem, putting forth the purpose and importance, and creating a research proposal, which serve scientific methods,
3Knows the validity and reliability tests in measurement, comprehends the subject and methods of sampling, knows the measurement subject and scale types, knows how to prepare the design, method and question types of the questionnaire,
4Knows Effective Article and Effective Project Presentation Techniques, learns data types and source scanning methods, learns about thesis proposal preparation guide and thesis preparation, learns citation and reference.
