Objectives of the Course
The objective of the this course to gain the student basic informations about protection of natural resources and environmental, good agricultural practices, in the world and in Turkey organic farming situation, the importance of organic farming in field crops, differences between the conventional and organic farming system, economic and proper use of the production inputs, methods used in organic production, organic product legislation and organic products to market.

Course Contents
1, Describe the concepts of organic farming, good agricultural practices, sustainable and ecological agriculture. 2. Explain the differences between organic and conventional agriculture in practice. 3. To be informed about the proper use of natural resources. 4. To apply organic farming methods in field crop cultivation. 5, Learns and applies the proper use of agricultural inputs.

2The regulation of organic farming evaluated in terms of field crops
3 The explaining of sustainable agriculture and ecological farming practices. Conventional farming to organic farming differences and similarities
4The importance of tillage in organic farming, input use
5Cultivation techniques in the organic farming of field crops organic farming system, the importance of irrigation in the production of field crops and are to be considered
6Production materials (seed, seedling, sapling, and breeders) in the organic farming.Crop rotation practices in organic farming,transition to organic farming practices
