Objectives of the Course
In this course, the definition, scope, types, and reasons of the migration phenomenon are discussed along with the socio-psychological behaviors of individuals and families during the migration process, within the framework of interaction between migrating individuals/families and citizens of the host country.

1They will learn about the concept of migration, its causes, and consequences.
2They will acquire knowledge about the history of migration worldwide and in Turkey.
3They will be informed about national and international legal regulations, able to analyze these documents, and possess the skills to interpret this information for the benefit of applicants.
4They will have the necessary social work skills when working with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and victims of human trafficking.
5They will scrutinize the fundamental professional values required when practicing in multicultural environments and possess these values.
