Objectives of the Course |
Students are expected to teach this course: 1 - To understand the transformation brought about by Islam in the course of Arabic literature through poetic and prose texts. 2 - To understand the most important characteristics of high literary expression through training on models that represent these characteristics from different eras. 3 to be able to stand on
The most important secrets of beauty in the literary text. 4- To practice reading solid literary texts, poetry and prose. 5 - To realize the role of literature in advocating the just causes of the nation and the extent of its impact on the masses. |

1 | At the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to:
1 - Explains the transformation brought about by Islam in the course of Arabic literature through poetic and prose texts.
2 - Shows the characteristics of fine Arabic literature in different eras.
3- He is fluent in reading literary texts, including poetry and prose, in a proper manner.
4 - Explains the role of Arabic literature in advocating the nation's issues.
5 - Distinguish the features of beauty in Arabic literary texts.
6 - He gives examples of Arabic literary texts that represent different literary purposes.
7- He mentions the names of the twenty most prominent Arab writers and poets from different eras. |

Course Contents |
This course includes a set of Arabic literary texts deliberately selected from poetry and prose from different historical and literary eras, with a focus on the modern era due to the convergence of its eloquent Arabic language with the prevailing language today. |
