The aim of this course; To enable the student to gain advanced knowledge and skills on oral hygiene, disorders in oral structures and care.

1	Explain the anatomy and physiology of the structures in the oral cavity.
2	Evaluate the oral and dental health of the individual and determine their needs.
3	Explain the factors affecting oral and dental health and the problems that arise.
4	It adopts the role of the nurse as a member of the team in maintaining and improving oral and dental health.
5	Provides education to the individual, family and society on the importance of good nutrition and hygiene in maintaining oral and dental health.
