Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide the student with a theoretical framework in examining health policies and influencing health policies as health professionals, helping the student to understand health care delivery systems, health policies and principles that cause changes in the delivery of health services, and to gain an in-depth view on these issues, especially throughout the country. It aims to discuss the groups that need health care services and have difficulties in accessing these services and the strategies to influence the policies developed to solve the health problems of these groups, and to provide them with policy development skills at the institutional and country level.

Course Contents
This course covers health policies and the historical, political, economic and cultural situation of nursing, the provision of health care services in Turkey and Turkey's health status, the political, economic and social determinants of health inequalities in the country, policies for health inequalities in the country, policy development and policy. analysis, national health policy and health insurance, comparison of international health policies and health insurance systems, policies in institutions, levels of policy action for nurses; institutional, nationwide, professional organisations, responsibilities and action strategies for influencing policies for nurses; It includes advocacy, collaboration, lobbying, media influence, and country health care policy problems and solutions.
