Objectives of the Course
To provide basic knowledge about nursing philosophy, basic concepts, theories and models, nurse's roles, responsibilities, functions and professionalism.

Learning Outcomes
1Explain the basic concepts, theories and models of nursing.
2Establishes the relationship between human, environment, health/illness and nursing, which are the four basic concepts of nursing.
3Explain the history of nursing, science and art aspects of the nursing profession.
4Analyzes the criteria of being a profession of the nursing profession.
5It expresses the roles, responsibilities and functions of the nurse in protecting and improving the health of the healthy/sick individual, family, community and curing diseases.
6Adopts the principles of nursing philosophy, gains a holistic and humanistic understanding in determining the needs of the individual.
7Begins to create awareness of professional identity.
8Explains the concept of maintenance.
9It expresses that it will be sensitive to working in accordance with the philosophy of nursing, aware of its roles and responsibilities, and will try to fulfill its responsibilities for professional development
