Objectives of the Course
To give students basic information about first aid rules, situations that need to be applied and first aid practices to be applied and to show the applications. It is aimed for students taking first aid courses to know and evaluate situations that require first aid, to determine what the situation is and its importance, to acquire first aid application skills and behaviors appropriate to the situation, and to be able to make appropriate referrals.

1Know and comprehend the basic concepts and principles of first aid.

Course Contents
First aid and emergency aid general information, the importance and rules of first aid, problems that arise in disaster situations and the importance of civil defense support, basic life support, injuries and bleeding, regional wounds, circulatory system disorders, respiratory system problems, poisonings, burns, environmental factors. and first aid practices, animal bites and stings, other emergencies, fractures, soft tissue injuries, first aid dressing practices and patient/injured handling techniques are included in the course content. is located.
