Objectives of the Course
Understanding the basic concepts of environmental and environmental problems, the reasons of environmental problems at the national and global scale and the perception of the basic environmental problems and determining the steps to be taken in solving these problems. To ensure the formation of environmental awareness and social responsibility. Also; In order to prevent and compensate for cultural losses, students are encouraged to develop projects for social responsibility, to develop sensitivity to social problems and to offer solutions by means of a series of activities.

Course Contents
To increase environmental awareness and social responsibility, to create a lost social consciousness and socially to contribute to the environment.

1To give information about the content of the course, to learn the expectations of students from this course.
2Explaining and discussing environment, ecosystem, habitat, niche, community, ecological balance, ecological cycles, natural and cultural environment and environmental factors.
3Explaining the causes of environmental problems, population growth, unplanned urbanization, unplanned industrialization problems.
4The consequences of environmental problems, environmental pollution in terms of Human Health, Major Local Environmental Pollution, Effects on Flora-Fauna and Effects on Biological Diversity.
5Air pollution, water and sea pollution, soil pollution issues and discussion.
6Explanation and discussion of noise and noise pollution, image pollution problems.
7Explaining and discussing radioactive and cultural pollution problems.
8Solid waste pollution and transformation, Explaining and discussing food pollution problems
9Explaining and discussing erosion and wrong land use problems.
10Examination of the legislation on environmental protection in our country.
11Measures to be taken for environmental problems, and alternative energy sources to be developed.
12Investigation of human impact on environment.
13Environment and sustainable development, Environmental education and environmental awareness.
