Objectives of the Course
Understanding the basic concepts on the environmental and environmental problems, perceiving the causes of environmental problems at national and global scale and determining the steps to be taken in solving these problems. To ensure the formation of environmental awareness and social responsibility regarding these. Also; In order to prevent and compensate cultural losses, it is aimed that students develop projects for social responsibility, develop awareness of social problems and offer solutions through a series of activities.

To increase environmental awareness and social responsibility, to create social awareness and to contribute to the environment in a social sense.

2 Explanation and discussion of Environment, Ecosystem, Habitat, Niche, Community, Ecological balance, Ecological Cycles, Natural and Cultural Environment and Environmental Factors
3Explanation and discussion of Causes of Environmental Problems, Population Increase, Unplanned Urbanization, Unplanned Industrialization.
4Explanation of the consequences of environmental problems, environmental pollution in terms of Human Health, Major Local Environmental Pollution, Effects on Flora-Fauna and Biodiversity
5 Explanation and discussion of air pollution, water and marine pollution, soil pollution problems
6Explanation and discussion of Noise and Sound Pollution, Image Pollution problems
7Explanation and discussion of Radioactive and Cultural Pollution problems
8Solid waste pollution and recycling, explanation and discussion of food contamination problems
9 Explaining and discussing erosion and misuse of land problems
10Examination of the legal legislation on Environmental Protection in our country
11Measures to be taken for environmental problems and alternative energy sources to be developed
12 Investigation of human impact on the environment
13Environment and sustainable development, Environmental education and raising environmental awareness
