To teach the principles that should be considered in dental photography and the documentation of dental photographs.

1Explain the importance of dental photography.
2Defines the basic rules of photography.
3Distinguish basic concepts such as ISO/aperture/shutter.
4Classify SLR/DSLR cameras.
5Camera, lens, light source and accessories dominate the functions.
6Has the ability to use dental photography equipment at a basic level.
7Distinguish the basic types of dental photographs taken from patients.
8Them are proficient in processing and archiving photograph.

This course; 1) Photography in Medicine and Dentistry, 2) Basic Components of Photography, 3) Flash systems, 4) Digital photography, 5) Dental photography machine and other necessary materials,6) Camera settings in dental photography,7) Around the mouth and intraoral photography,8) Portrait and profile photography,9) Viewing dental prostheses and models,10) Errors in dental photography,11) Copying and scanning operations,12) Image processing and basic settings,13) Archiving,14) Legal procedures in dental photography; includes topics.
