Course Contents
1. Basic concepts in analytical chemistry, solutions, solvents and solutes 2. Concentrations, percent solutions, molal, molar, normal solids 3. Particle properties and inter-ion forces in boiling point, boiling point elevation, freezing point and vapor pressure drop 4. Ionic equilibrium, chemical balance and reaction of the reactions 5.Homogeneous and heterogeneous equilibrium reactions, calculation of solubility, factors affecting solubility 6.Acid and bases, concentration and pH calculation in monoacid solutions 7. Calculation of concentration and pH in polyprotic acids 8.Analysis of quantitative analysis methods , volumetric analyzes, indicators 9. Acid base titrations, alkali hydroxide, bicarbonate and carbonate determinations 10.
