Objectives of the Course
To teach the factors that will be taken into consideration when designing the building equipped with professional knowledge. In addition, to provide students with the design ideas that emerged through the researches carried out by department faculty members and nationwide researches. The aim of this course is to provide the transition from the initial design experience to the level of design research, development and realization.

Course Contents
Building-building concept, basic factors affecting building planning and design will be discussed. Information about building typologies will be given. In addition, the actions and areas of action in the use of buildings will be examined. Planning principles of different typologies such as residences, office buildings and tourism buildings will be examined.
