Objectives of the Course

In general, it is aimed to explain the relationship of social work with social policy and planning. Comprehending social policy tools and understanding the importance of social policy in terms of social service. Understanding the goals of social policy and planning based on its historical development.

1	Defines the concepts of social policy and social planning.
2	Will be able to explain the similarities and differences between social policy and some branches of social sciences around this branch of science.
3	Will be able to question the factors that shape and direct social policies.
4	Will be able to compare the historical development of social policies in the world and in Turkey.
5	Will be able to question the development of international social policies, the underlying reasons of these policies and the international sources of social policies.

5	Questioning the economic philosophy and the established legal order that were valid during the Industrial Revolution.
