Course Contents
This course will explain "religion" from the point of view presented by Sociology. It deals with the expression, feeling, image, discourses, practices and materials of religion in daily life and its relationships and interactions with power, economy, politic, migration and terrorism. Also, relation of religion with globalization, modernism, post-modernism and secularization and factionalism will be among the subjects to be under scrutiny. Finally, different aspects of religion, such as identity, grouping and radical formations, will be the subjects to be studied.
