Objectives of the Course
It is to provide sufficient information about the political and social structure of the Hulefâ-i Raşidîn, Umayyad and Andalusian Umayyad periods, to gain a perspective that can understand and evaluate the causes and consequences of the events that took place in these periods, and to use the acquired knowledge in contemporary issues.

Learning Outcomes
1The history of the caliphate with its main lines from the beginning with the concepts of caliph and caliphate
2Hz. Being able to notice the atmosphere in the Islamic world after the death of the Prophet
3The election of Abu Bakr as the caliph, the sending of the Usama Army, the reasons and suppression of the ridde and rebellion movements.
4The beginning of the expeditions on the lands inhabited by the Arabs of the Eastern Romans and Sassanids.
5To be able to compare the practices of each of the Hulefâ-i Raşidîn and to be able to take examples of their different practices on various subjects.
6Comparing the Caliphate and the Sultanate periods
7To be able to explain the reasons for the emergence of different views and sects in the history of Islam.
8To be able to explain and interpret the different aspects of Hulefâ-i Raşidîn, Umayyads and Andalusian Umayyads.
