Objectives of the Course
Within the framework of the system approach of transportation activities, which is one of the most important logistics activities, it aims to provide basic information about the design, formation stages and management of transportation systems.

Learning Outcomes
1Information: Defines / explains the basic concepts related to transport types and systems. List the stages of systematization of transportation types and cost factors. Analyzes the differences between transport systems and transport types on the basis of operational, properties and cost.
2Skill: It manages and tracks transportation activities. Recognize the transportation systems used in logistics activities and distinguish their features. Gains knowledge of selection, management and optimization of transportation business. Recognize the resources (vehicle, equipment, human, facility etc.) that make up the transportation systems.
3Competence to Work Independently and Take Responsibility: It realizes the effective and efficient management of the transportation system and its type in line with the goals and responsibilities of the logistics enterprise.
4Develops solutions for the problems encountered regarding transportation.
5He / she can direct or verbally convey information about the field of International Logistics and Transportation to project, event and social responsibility activities

Choosing the transportation type or transportation system related to transportation activities that come first in logistics activities, creating integrated logistics services according to transportation types, delivery and payment methods in transportation, transportation documents and obligations and responsibilities according to transportation types constitute the content of this course.
