Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to recognize digital technologies, digital media and tools and to use them in a competent way. Finding, processing, editing, sharing, evaluating and analyzing information by using digital technologies constitute the main subjects of the course. At the end of the course, students are expected to use digital media and tools and to raise awareness and to raise their level of inquiry.

1İletişim, yeni medya, sanat ve kültür başta olmak üzere alanları ile ilgili her türlü kavramı tanımlayabilecek
2İletişim ve yeni medya konularının tarihsel süreç içindeki gelişimlerini anlayarak, kültürel, sosyal ve teknolojik değişime bağlı olarak alanlarındaki ilgili değişimleri ve sonuçlarını değerlendirebilecek.
3Teknolojik, kültürel ve sosyal değişimleri izleyecek ve bunları alanlarına uygulayabilecek.
4Yeni medya ve iletişim alanındaki konuları analiz edebilecek, anladığını yorumlayıp eleştirel yaklaşımda bulunabilecek ve değerlendirebilecek.
5Yeni Medya ve iletişim alanıyla ilişkili kuramsal ve kavramsal konuları bilimsel bir yaklaşımla araştırıp analiz ederek bilimsel bir içerik üretebilecek.
6Define all concepts related to communication, new media, art and culture.
7Understand the developments in the historical process of communication and new media, and evaluate the related changes and their consequences in terms of cultural, social and technological changes.
8Follow technological, cultural and social changes and apply them to their fields.
9Will be able to analyze new media and communication issues, interpret and understand critical approaches and evaluate them.
10Will be able to produce scientific content by analyzing and analyzing the theoretical and conceptual issues related to the new media and communication field.
