Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to define media literacy, to exemplify the history of media literacy in the world and in our country, the trends and theories that emerged for this purpose, and to give information about media literacy curricula.

1Knows the basic concepts of journalism discipline and the basic theories of journalism.
2Identify the facts related to journalism and analyze these facts with various dimensions.
3It presents original press broadcasting projects that meet the needs of media organizations.
4He/She can solve the problems that arise by taking responsibility when necessary in projects related to her field.
5He/She can take part in a team established for projects related to his field, lead the project, plan and manage events.
6It uses new communication technologies effectively in its professional and scientific studies and constantly follows the developments in new communication technologies.
