Objectives of the Course
The course concentrates on the fundamentals of architectural design based on structural design and gives an idea of an integrated design process. It is specifically designed to provide a holistic overview of architectural and engineering design projects. This course aims to analyze architects, architectural designs and structural design principles in order to understand the link between architecture and civil engineering. The student will learn design ideas and philosophies for both architects and civil engineers. Students know famous building designs and understand the effects of architectural movement principles on structural development.
