11 The student will learn the basic concepts and problems of the philosophy of art. 2 Students will be able to evaluate the relationship between art and knowledge. 3 The student will understand the role of the receiver and producer in the aesthetic experience. 4 The student will learn contemporary art theories and criticisms of these theories. 5 The student will be able to interpret the social and institutional dimensions of art.
