Objectives of the Course

To inform the students against occupational accidents and diseases, first aid and teach security measures. Learn and practice the subject of a comprehensive occupational health and safety.

2	Gathering the appearance of accidents and their causes.
3	Explaining the occupational diseases and preventing ways.

5	Determining the electrical and non electrical equipment safety and preventing ways.
6	Explaining preventers and the importance of their usage.
7	Learning first aid rules and applicating them.
8	Explaining occupational safety investigation.
9	Explaining safety rules in fire and explosions.
10	Explaining Labor legislation.
11	Has the ability to access basic and current information in the field of occupational health.
12	Using his/her knowledge and skills in the field of occupational health reviews and evaluates the scientifically data, identifies problems, analyze.
13	Take places team work activities and social responsibility projects.
14	Know the importance of international ethical guidelines in occupational health.

Course Contents

Definition of Occupational health, Employee health, occupational health and safety team, ocupational health services, work-related diseases and the prevention of occupational diseases, occupational history taking assessment of health status, job-worker harmony, job-specific evaluations, risk assessments procedures, record systems for occupational health, epidemiology in occupational health, ethical issues. Definition and history of occupational safety, accident occurrence and types, and ways to protect occupational diseases, ergonomics, occupational safety in the workshop of electrical and manual tools, Business security Guards, Rules of First Aid, safety measures of the explosion and the fire, Business Law and regulations, the Occupational Safety Investigation.
