Drawing, the foundation of visual arts, is an experimental means for investigating, recording, and exploring the visible world, visually communicating ideas, making the imaginative world visible, preserving thoughts, impressions, and memories, observing, establishing relationships, distinguishing, and developing artistic creativity, invention, and skill.
