Objectives of the Course
This course aims to introduce the literary, historical and cultural background of English Literature starting from Anglo-Saxon Period. This course enhances cultural literacy and awareness of relevant issues in the humanities. It also aims to enhance the student’s ability to think critically on canonical texts.
