Objectives of the Course
The students will be educated information in detail on ampelography and viticulture. To provide students with a background knowledge base of biology, physiology and anatomy of grapevine. To acquaint students with grapevine breeding and breeding methods.

Learning Outcomes
1Students will have background knowledge of biology, physiology and anatomy of grapevine, and will be able to discuss this subject.
2Students will have basic information on grapevine breeding and breeding methods being used in viticulture, and will have basic abilities on application of these methods.
3Students will have known harvest criteria of grape, will be able to analyse and to determine these harvest criteria. In addition to, students will have knowledge of storage conditions of grape, and will have abilities on grape storage.
4Students will have background knowledge of plant growth regulators which being used in viticulture, and will be able to prepare plant growth regulators, and to use them for different aim.
5Students will comprehend physiological damages which occur in vineyards, and will approach to prevent and to solve these damages.

Course Contents
The students: 1. To provide students with information and abilities that will enable them to be successful in their academic career.. 2. To provide students with a background knowledge base of biology, physiology and anatomy of grapevine. 3. To acquaint students with grapevine breeding and breeding methods. 4. To provide students with abilities and information about maturation criteria of grape, grape harvesting and grape storage 5. To provide students with base information and abilities on application of plant growth regulators in viticulture. 6. To provide students with information and abilities on physiological damages which occur in grapevine, and preventive applications of them.
