Objectives of the Course
To give information about the scope, history and biotechnology industry of biotechnology, to understand biotechnology and its basic principles. Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to teach classical and modern biotechnology, which includes the latest developments in biotechnology and its applications in various fields such as agriculture, forestry, food, medicine and marine sciences.

1Understanding the biotechnological significance of biological systems
2Understanding biotechnology applications
3Being able to define biotechnology and distinguish between modern biotechnology and traditional biotechnology.
4To be able to conduct research on biotechnology and to convey the information obtained verbally or in writing.
5To have knowledge about biotechnological applications in herbal, animal and medical fields and to be able to make observations and experiments on the subject when necessary
