Objectives of the Course
To show the status of Turkish language in historical periods, sound and shape structure, differences in speech and written language, word making methods, and the status of words in terms of meaning and task.

What is language, languages on earth, place of Turkish among world languages, speech and writing language, historical development of Turkish written language, what is sound, sounds in Turkish (features, changes), words in terms of structure (in terms of structure of sound and shape) nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, verbs

1Definition of language, the major topics of the types of Language (spoken language, written language, common language, argot, jargon...), the status of language as a phenomenon of social and cultural functions of language-human language and society, language and culture, language and thought, language-communication
2Relationship and language among the Turkish languages of the world, the place, the origin of the languages on earth in terms of structure and classification. Differentiation in language, dialect, accent of the concepts, historical and geographical borders of Turkey Turkish
3Phonetics: What is sound? Sound body, the role of sound in the formation of organs of the human voice, the voice path, removing the sound formation point, the sounds of the Turkish language, vowels and consonants.
