Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the fundamental pathophysiological mechanisms involved in the development of diseases and to enable students to explain the relationship between these mechanisms and clinical symptoms.

Introduction to pathophysiology: basic concepts and definitions, Disease mechanisms at the cellular level, Anemia, Cancer, Inflammation and healing processes, Pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases, Pathophysiology of respiratory system diseases, Basic pathophysiology of nervous system diseases, Pathophysiology of digestive system diseases, Kidney and fluid-electrolyte balance disorders.
