Objectives of the Course
It is to explain with examples that biostatistics is an indispensable element of health services and an organ that helps healthcare personnel to see, hear, sense and make decisions. To teach which biostatistical method can be applied to which problems and how to interpret the results. To explain the importance and use of biostatistics in health sciences and which biostatistical methods should be calculated in planning the execution and rearrangement stages of research.

1Recognize the definition of statistics, its subject and its relation with other sciences.
2It ensures that the necessary equipment is provided to process and interpret the data obtained or will be obtained as a result of a scientific study, and that decisions are made about the correct methods that can be applied in research planning.

Definitions, Biostatistics, Frequency distributions, Descriptive statistics, Table and graph types, Location of measures, Distribution measures, Distributions of continuous and discrete data, Probability, Hypothesis tests, Correlation and regression analysis.
