Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop creative and functional furniture designs by conveying the historical development process of furniture design, the effects of technological advances, human-centered approaches and design trends on furniture, and furniture design principles theoretically and practically. During the course, students will experience furniture design processes with various projects, work on combining theory and practice, and develop their knowledge and skills to gain a professional perspective.

This course provides students with the opportunity to understand and apply the fundamental principles of furniture design. Students will develop practical skills covering every stage of the design process, while increasing their aesthetic understanding and technical abilities. They will also learn about modern materials and production techniques, and develop projects that meet the needs of today's furniture industry.
