Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to explain the airport visual aids as a system, to describe airport visual aids, to be able to distinguish the applications of airport classification and certification, to explain the airport activity structure and airport activities, and to discuss the new phenomena related to airport operational management.

Course Contents
In this course; There are subjects such as airport concept, air side facilities and equipments, declared distances and calculations, instrumented runways and their properties, obstacle limitation surfaces, visual aids for determining obstacles, marking and illumination of PAT area, runway strength and calculation methods, airport master planning, air side and land plant installation, airport terminal types and airport service presentation process, protection of surface coating conditions-Rescue and fire fighting activities-combating wildlife, mania control-airport operations activities.
