Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to know the definitions and concepts related to nutrition and nutrition, to apply the related concepts to daily life and to follow the nutritional habits of children.

1Knows the concepts, theories, national and international practices and relations between concepts in the field of child development.
2Knows the development and learning characteristics of children, developmental disorders and learning difficulties.
3She has knowledge of education programs, teaching methods and techniques, and measurement and evaluation in the field of child development.
4Knows the practices aimed at reintegrating children with different characteristics into society.
5Evaluates and monitors the development of children in multiple ways using different measurement methods and techniques.
6Uses the philosophy, general features and elements of education programs related to child development in education programs.
7By participating in in-house, national and international trainings after graduation, he continuously improves his professional knowledge and skills and uses them effectively.
8Prepares, implements and evaluates educational programs taking into account the developmental characteristics and individual differences of children.

In order to gain the necessary knowledge, attitudes and behaviors within the scope of child nutrition course, first of all, general information about maternal and child health in Turkey and in the world should be taught. Within the scope of this course, students should be active throughout the course with the constructivist education method based on the principle of teaching from general to specific.
