The aim of this course; To enable the student to gain advanced knowledge and skills on oral hygiene, disorders in oral structures and care.

1Explain the anatomy and physiology of the structures in the oral cavity.
2Evaluate the oral and dental health of the individual and determine their needs.
3Explain the factors affecting oral and dental health and the problems that arise.
4It adopts the role of the nurse as a member of the team in maintaining and improving oral and dental health.
5Provides education to the individual, family and society on the importance of good nutrition and hygiene in maintaining oral and dental health.
